Job Description:

Adecco is seeking a Solderer for a position in Eden Prairie. This position performs basic various electronic soldering operations on components or subassemblies using schematics, blueprints, electronic files, or drawings.

This is a great contract to hire opportunity for the right individual. We are looking for motivated, reliable, hardworking individuals that have either a previous background in assembly or working in the manufacturing field.

Responsibilities:

Align and mechanically assemble parts into PC boards

• Accurately cut/trim/form component leads using hand cutters and forming tools

• Install components and parts

• Route and attach wires and form circuitry

• Installation through-hole and surface mount components (basic hand soldering)

• Perform visual self-inspection per IPC-610A

• Post-SMT hand insertion and mechanical assembly

• Perform standard rework operations

Hours:

2nd shift: 3:30pm-2am Monday-Thursday (Pay: $12.75-14.50/hour DOQ)

Weekend Shift: 5am-5:30pm Friday-Sunday (Pay: $14.25-16/hour DOQ)

Start Date: ASAP

Work Type: Contract to Hire

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1 - 5 years of soldering experience

• IPC (J Standard) certification

• Must be able to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English

• Able to identify and apply very small components in very small spaces without damaging adjacent parts

• Can self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the production process

• Able to follow directions and maintain a safe and 5S environment

• Must listen effectively, possess a positive attitude, and cooperate well with team members

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment; can adapt to quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction
