Job Description:
Master Certified Technician
Position Summary: This family owned and operated company is seeking
an Automotive Master Certified Technician to join our team. This
individual will maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles within the
service bay and provide accurate information to the service manager
and service advisors, concerning vehicles that are processed
through the company for business purposes.
Essential Duties:
Perform vehicle repair, multi-point inspection, and/or maintenance
work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in
accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and
testing
Communicate with parts department and service advisors regularly to
effectively manage production and customer communication.
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if
authorized by the Customer
Make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability
of customer vehicles.
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean shop area.
Expected to arrive to work on time and work required shift.
Follow instructions from supervisor.
Interact effectively with co-workers.
Receive feedback from supervisor in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be Master
Certified and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in
a busy shop environment. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
-8 years' experience as an automotive technician with Ford.
- Master Certified
- Demonstrates knowledge in the area of service for automotive
technicians.
- Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
- Ambitious and hardworking presence in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service
mentality
- Ability to collaborate effectively and to operate electronic
diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures
and specifications.
